Last updated: 5 October 2026.
Scope of the Policy and the Products or Services It Covers
This Payment and Refund Policy applies to all purchases of digital courses, resources and related professional training materials offered through infowavly. The content focuses on studio production in motion, including studio equipment setup, dynamic camera operation, lighting and sound waves, and high-quality workflows for television news and live shows. It governs transactions made by consumers located in the United Kingdom and covers both one-time course purchases and any subscription-based access to the professional resource library.
Prices, Currencies, Taxes and Any Additional Charges
All prices are displayed in British Pounds Sterling (GBP). Value Added Tax (VAT) at the prevailing UK rate is included in the displayed price where applicable. No additional charges apply for standard digital delivery. Any currency conversion fees incurred by the customer’s payment provider remain the customer’s responsibility. Promotional prices are clearly marked and valid only for the stated period.
Accepted Payment Methods, Payment Authorisation and Payment Security
We accept major credit and debit cards, PayPal and bank transfers. Payment is authorised at the time the order is placed. All transactions are processed through secure, PCI-DSS compliant gateways. infowavly does not store full card details. Authorisation confirms sufficient funds and may place a temporary hold on the customer’s account until the transaction completes.
Order, Booking or Service Confirmation and When a Contract Is Formed
A binding contract is formed when we send an order confirmation email containing access instructions. This email is sent immediately after successful payment authorisation. Customers should retain this confirmation for their records. Access to digital content is granted electronically upon confirmation.
Cancellation Rights and Applicable Cancellation Periods
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, customers in the United Kingdom have a 14-day cooling-off period from the date of purchase during which they may cancel for any reason. Because the courses consist of digital content, cancellation rights end once the customer begins downloading or streaming the material, unless the content is faulty.
Refund Eligibility, Exclusions and Non-Refundable Items or Services
Refunds are available within the 14-day period if no substantial content has been accessed. Refunds are not provided for completed downloads, streamed modules, or after the cooling-off period expires. Promotional or discounted bundles are non-refundable once any part of the bundle has been accessed. Technical issues caused by the customer’s own equipment or internet connection do not qualify for refund.
The Step-by-Step Procedure and Information Required to Request a Refund
To request a refund, email [email protected] with the subject line “Refund Request” and include the order number, date of purchase, and a brief explanation. Requests must be submitted within the applicable time limit. We acknowledge receipt within two working days and may request additional details such as proof of purchase.
Inspection, Approval, Rejection and Notification of the Refund Decision
Our team reviews each request within five working days. We assess whether content has been accessed and whether the request falls within policy terms. Customers receive written notification of approval or rejection, together with reasons if refused. Approved refunds are processed promptly.
Refund Method, Processing Time and When Funds Should Reach the Customer
Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Credit or debit card refunds typically appear within five to ten working days. PayPal refunds are usually credited within two to three working days. Bank transfer refunds may take up to seven working days depending on the receiving bank.
Special Rules for Digital Content, Subscriptions, Services or Promotional Offers
Digital courses are non-returnable once downloaded or streamed. Subscription plans renew automatically unless cancelled at least 48 hours before the renewal date. Cancellation of a subscription stops future billing but does not entitle the customer to a pro-rata refund for the current period. Promotional offers are subject to their own terms stated at purchase.
Failed Payments, Duplicate Charges, Chargebacks and Suspected Fraud
In the event of a failed payment, access is suspended until payment is successfully retried. Duplicate charges are investigated and refunded automatically where verified. Chargebacks are treated as potential fraud and may result in account suspension. Suspected fraudulent activity leads to immediate investigation and possible reporting to relevant authorities while preserving consumer rights under UK law.
Mandatory Consumer Rights in the United Kingdom That the Policy Cannot Exclude
Nothing in this policy affects statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 or the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008. Customers retain the right to remedies for faulty digital content, including repair, replacement or refund where the content does not conform to the contract.
